Working with textiles introduces a different rhythm to the drawing process. At the heart of my work is a belief that creativity helps people connect to ideas, stories, and to one another. I also believe that a creative practice can be a form of wellness. Making something with your hands invites reflection, curiosity, and a deeper sense of presence. My creative process brings together two worlds I deeply value. One is the tactile experience of creating with the hands through drawing, mixed media, and intuitive mark making. The other is the power of digital tools that allow those ideas to reach wider audiences through design, illustration, and multimedia storytelling. With a background in fashion and multimedia design, along with years of experience supporting academic programs in higher education, I have developed a practice that moves between illustration, graphic design, editorial visuals, and video creation.
