The EXPERIMENTAL Collection

Creative exploration is an integral part of the practice of getting unstuck from conventional habitual ways of producing art.

Alcohol Ink on Transparent Film

With just a straw, transparent film, and one’s own breath, this happens.  Varying the strength of one’s breath the ink moves with surprising effects.

Acrylic on Recycled Book Page

Found a discarded book, and tore it apart to be painted over its pages, some completely covered and some peaking through the layers of paint.  Using recycled materials provides creative freedom to make a mess and intuitively make art.

Thread Drawing on Dissolvable Fuse

A sewing machine is a favorite tool that extends the challenges of creativity! The vintage Morse Fotomatic IV sewing machine was used to doodle. Textile is another medium to exercise hand coordination and meditative art making.
